Luke Ganje - Biography
There are many ways to begin walking the path of an aspiring author and while most of them necessitate the frequent use of various narcotics, hallucinogens, and alcohol, there is another way! And while success and fame may not necessarily walk hand in hand with this less "crash-course" mindset, it suits a writer such as Luke Ganje just fine.
Born in the socializing wasteland known simply as "North Dakota", he quickly established a love affair with classic literature at an early age even as his enthusiastic embrace of Gothic strongholds such as Lovecraft and Poe screamed of a depressed or melancholic mind. Regardless of whether or not these mental states could be applied accurately to the writer in question, a desire to create tales of his own was birthed in the flames of this literary firestorm known as "isolation" or "a lacking social life". Say what you will of such things but they truly do foster self-reliance and a drive to do something great, as well as the occasional delusion of grandeur.
While this is rarely a sign of great novels to come, a slight talent began to develop as short story after short story met its ugly fate courtesy of an uncompromising red pen. Soon the terrible became mediocre, the mediocre became something more, and while the flow of the words stopped frequently due to a teenager's work ethic they never really got around to dying out. And, if one is being truthful, neither did the desire to eventually impress a beautiful girl with the casual signing of a bestseller.
Now at the age of 23, he has written 2 novels as well as the countless short stories and poems that keep him occupied as he frets over the smallest missteps that inevitably arise in the plannig for better novels and greater ideas. As of yet the title of "published author" remains something better left to the imagination, a reality which happens to also be a frequent reminder that not everyone admires his genius as much as he does. But it is a dream that has yet to die.
And should it ever come to the point in time where the "Extinction" of his "author" title is likely, he welcomes any and all readers to pollute this site with spam and rage until a resurrection of biblical proportions takes place. BYOB or BYON (Bible or Necromancer). He isn't religiously picky.
